Welcome to https://sketchupfree.com/ (SketchUp Free Ltd). By accessing our website, purchasing a subscription, or downloading our 3D models, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.

1. General Info & Acceptance

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Subscriber”) and SketchUp Free Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Service Description

We provide a subscription-based platform that offers access to a library of 3D architectural and interior design assets, primarily in 3ds Max format (“Assets” or “Products”).

3. Account Registration & Security

To access our Assets, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and current information.
Account Sharing: Your subscription is personal. You may not share your login credentials with others. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that show suspicious activity indicating multiple users on a single subscription.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.

4. Subscription, Billing, and Payments

Payment Processor: We use Paddle as our Merchant of Record (MoR). This means that all billing, invoicing, and tax management (VAT/GST) are handled by Paddle. You may see “Paddle.com” or a similar descriptor on your bank statement.
Recurring Billing: By purchasing a subscription (Monthly or Yearly), you authorize us (via Paddle) to charge your payment method automatically at the start of each billing cycle until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current active period.
Taxes: All fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Paddle will automatically calculate and add applicable VAT/Sales Tax based on your location.

5. License Agreement (Usage Rights)

When you download a 3D model from our site, you are not “buying” the copyright. You are purchasing a Royalty-Free, Non-Exclusive License to use the assets.

You Are ALLOWED to:

Use the 3D models in your commercial or personal projects (e.g., architectural visualizations, interior rendering images, videos, games, VR).
Modify the 3D geometry or textures to fit your specific project needs.
Use the models multiple times in different projects as long as your subscription was active at the time of download (or if you purchased a lifetime asset, if applicable).

You Are PROHIBITED from:

Reselling or Redistributing: You cannot resell, give away, or redistribute the actual 3D files (.max, .obj, .fbx, etc.) or textures, either alone or as part of a collection/bundle.
Competitor Use: You cannot use our assets to build a competing library or database.
Print-on-Demand: You cannot use the assets to mass-produce physical 3D printed objects for retail sale without a custom enterprise license.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including but not limited to 3D models, images, text, and logos, is the property of SketchUp Free Ltd and is protected by international copyright laws.

7. Refund Policy

Our refund terms are outlined in our separate https://sketchupfree.com/refund-policy/. By agreeing to these Terms, you also acknowledge that you have read and understood our Refund Policy.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

“As Is”: Our services and assets are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind regarding their compatibility with specific software versions (e.g., specific versions of V-Ray, Corona, or 3ds Max).
Liability: In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including data loss or project delays) arising from your use of our assets.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or refund, if you breach these Terms, particularly regarding the unauthorized redistribution of our 3D files.
